SWP " Whose Table Is It Anyway"

Every Year The Society Of Wedding Planners in Philadelphia hosts the "Whose Table Is It Anyway" Competition. This competition which encourages companies, individuals or a team to design a table that is elegant, cutting edge & best showcases the design talents of the industry.
This year Drexelbrook Catering is proud to have won in the category of Themed event of $10,000. The qualifications were: that for a party of 125 guests, the decor, rental and china would be over $10,000.
Our Theme was "Dinner In a Vineyard" and showcased our off-premise catering abilities. Once a theme and a menu concept was chosen we reached out to our wonderful business partners including Eventricity, Party Rental, Eventions Lighting, and New Hope Winery. Added into this were wonderful little touches from Amy Ragsdale Custom Jewerly. Created under a trellis of curly willow & grapes our table featured incredible hand cut wood cross sections as risers and beautiful earth tone china set upon slate underlays. The final accents of custom calligraphy from Mia at Eventricity completed this elegant but warm table design.

We were honored to have been chosen the winner by so many of our peers. The many comments included ones complimenting our use of wood, the warmth and elegance that it brought to an outdoor setting and the amount of details that guests could discover as the enjoyed an evening at the table.
Eight chosen guests won dinner served at the table  which featured the menu which inspired the setting. Those eith guests included Jim Cohn from Mid-Atlantic Events, Planners Sarah Morrison and Renee Grande as well as other great industry professionals.

Other Category winners this year were: Jessica Mendez from Charmed Insights, Christofer Janesson  & Eventricity. Congratulations to the other three category winners.
