As a wine lover & foodie I can think of no better way to get away than a wine & food pairing and in that world there is no better pairing event than Franks Golden Wine Event. With incredible food & over 150 wines you cannot find a better value. Add to that the idea that it benefits The Arts and Charity and the event is simply a no brainer. Drexelbrook Catering was fortunate enough to attend last year’s event and I will not miss one from here on in. Franks Wine is an amazing source of wine and spirits and is always staffed by professional, educated and helpful sales team that will find you the perfect wine.

BLACK is the new GOLD. Gone away is the stuffy, snooty, corporate "elegance" of the hotel (note the lower case "t" and "h"... Uncle Dupy lost the grandeur of upper case) ... HARRY'S (all caps!) is sleek, chic, trendy and hip!
After last year's fiasco we're headed back to "the other ballroom" in North Wilmington! With some proper planning Frank, Xavier, Chefs Patrick D'Amico and Leo Banks along with their talented culinary staff at Harry's Savoy Ballroom have orchestrated an evening of bold & explosive flavors to be married to the 150+ of in-your-face lip-smacking wines!
Live jazzy sounds and upbeat reggae will fill areas of the ballroom and tented patio... jamonit!! You'll be welcomed with bubbly poured from sliced bottles being sabered by Frank's Champagne sword... swooosh!! As in the past we'll once again focus on the marriage of wine to regional cuisine in 6 Food & Wine "pods" based on the top grape-growing regions and international cookery of the world... with one more ethnic entry: Germany - with their fine Riesling paired with Goudas, brats, schnitzels and other Bavarian delicacies!
