On Thursday February 7, 2013 Drexelbrook Catering joined forces with area restaurants and caterers to host "Savor 2013" at The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. This wonderful event was hosted by Mainline Magazine and benefited Philabundance through proceeds as well as a canned food collection site.
Drexelbrook Catering strongly supports efforts to help those less fortunate and works closely with St. Johns Hospice and City Team Ministries to coordinate weekly pick-up of foods. This was just another wonderful way to give back and we thank Kate Frey for coordinating this great event.
Drexelbrook Catering prepared both a sweet & savory menu item and we were able to showcase many of our wonderful venues including Drexelbrook Catering, The Fuge, Franklin Commons, Paoli Design Center and Stonebridge Mansion
Chef Tim prepared a Marinated Chicken Tenderloin grilled on Himalayan Salt with a Champagne Buerre Blanc & Mixed Grain Pilaf
Salt Block's add so much flavor to items both hot & cold!
This wonderful mixed grain pilaf is gluten free and was the a perfect addition to the savory Chicken Tenderloin. Chef Wade (The Drexelbrook Executive chef) is a Celiac Certified Chef .
Thanks to Eventricity for this beautiful arrangement.
Our sweet addition to the menu was a Kirsch Wasser (Cherry Liquor) infused Marscapone with Dried Cherries in a miniature cone!
Many Thanks To:
Stephen Brown at Looking Glass Photography for these great pictures
The Eventricity Team for the great decor & floral
Kate Frey & her great team of volunteers for coordinating this event
Bob Mills and The Philly Event Group for a great night of music
All the participating caterers, restaurant and sponsors for their willingness to help our community.
