One of the true joys of the Hospitality Industry is the wonderful food we get to experience on a regular basis. Ours is an industry that demands us to educate our senses and abilities on a day to day basis. On Thursday, February 17th the education was on the "Chinese Banquet Menu" and the students were twenty Hospitality Industry stars.

The dinner was organized by Gene Blum of Drexelbrook Catering and was held at Joy Tsin Lau restaurant in Chinatown. The nine course, thirteen dish menu was a traditional Chinese Wedding Banquet. The evening was a feast for the senses and gave everyone a brief insight to the culture, symbolism and dining rituals of Chinese Cuisine.
This dinner which is the first of a series of "Dine Around" events that will feature many different cultures and cuisines was well received by all and provided everyone with all they can eat authentic "Chinese Cuisine"
