Gourmet Cupcakes & Wine Pairing

On Tuesday, November 9th Drexelbrook Catering was proud to sponsor a Gourmet Cupcakes and Wine Pairing event for the women in the wedding and hospitality industry. Cupcakes Gourmet presented an amazing display of  incredible miniatures that are perfect for any style event from wedding to corporate. Maki Garcia Evans was on hand to discuss how these all natural and amazing cupcakes can add that special touch to any event.

Franks Union Wine Mart graciously donated wines that were paired with the cupcake flavors. The Chardonnay paired with the Vanilla to accent the vanilla in the wine as well as the Red Velvet Cupcake paired with the Cabernet were the two most popular pairings, but all were greatly received.
Frank Pagliaro is the regions best source for information and pairings for any style event. In addition the tutored tastings and events hosted by them are a great wine lovers night out within a budget. The selected vineyard for the evening was Cupcake Vineyards

Drexelbrook Catering  organized this wonderful evening as a thank you to the many women professionals that impact the events world so positively. Leslie Padilla co-hosted this wonderful event and generously donated many incredible giveaways including a Salon Treatment and Products, Gift Certificates to The VanCleve Collection, Cupcakes Gourmet Packages, Nookies Pleasure Sox and a tutored wine tasting by Drexelbrook Catering.

Additional sponsors of the event were Healy Edmonds of The Chestnut Club who graciously hosted this event in her beautiful venue at 1529 Chestnut Street. Select Event Rental who provided all the tables, chairs, linens and glassware which so elegantly accented the venue. The sound system was provided by Synergetic Sounds and Photography was by the wonderful Jean Valentin Photography. VIP Magazine and Society of Wedding Planners were on hand to assist with gift bags, registration and coordination.

The night was a wonderful success and we are already working on a December Event with an added touch of Fashion. That event will be centered around single source chocolates and sparkling.
