The 2010 Mainline Chamber of Commerce Red Carpet Dinner was held on November 4th at Drexelbrook Catering & Banquet Facilities. An incredible evening of celebration, networking , and dinner finished with an incredible presentation on leadership by the Superbowl winning, 15 year NFL Head Coach Dick Vermeil.
With three hundred & fifty attendees, wines from the Vermeil Vineyards provided the evenings our Wine Sponsor "The Radnor Hotel", musical entertainment from "The Villanova Sirens", and dinner by Drexelbrook Catering the evening came to a peak when Mike Mamula (Eagles 95-00) introduced Dick Vermeil as the evenings high energy guest speaker. Coach Vermeil spoke about leadership in the face of adversity and outlined five steps to being a successful leader.
Not a whisper could be heard as Coach Vermeil used football analogies to show us all his seventy four year experience in life, coaching, leadership and values.
