Invitations Make A Difference

On Wednesday, November 17th I had the wonderful experience of attending an informative and fun presentation by Christina Carnevale of Paper-Rock-Scissors Stationary. The event which was held at Soiree Philadelphia the city's Bridal Style and Research Facility. Soiree Philadelphia is a free concierge service dedicated to the discerning bride.Some of the members of the elite group of wedding professionals include Mark Kingsdorf, Laura Eaton, Amy Resse, Drexelbrook Catering, Colette Pastore, and of course Paper-Rock-Scissors. The evening was the monthly presentation to new brides and grooms to be and was attended by several wonderful brides as well as planners.  All were interested in gaining insight into invitations and stationary. As well as an amazing and informative presentation by Christina Carnevale the evening featured incredible floral by ILonka Comstock , savory foods by Drexelbrook Catering and Events and sweets donated by Cupcakes Gourmet and displayed by Drexelbrook Catering.
Laura Eaton was on hand to capture the moment with her incredible photo style. Stayed tuned for her pictures and video coming soon on her website and blog.

Topics for the evening included price ranges, types of printing, when and why to use a custom stationary company, the reasons for hand stamping, properly addressing guests, nuances in addresses, time lines for ordering and pitfalls to avoid as well as many other topics. Christina answered every question and is an incredible resource for the new bride to be. Christina's excitement was contagious and her desire to help brides who wish to create the perfect invitation was warming.
